Indiana Libraries Special Issue Call for Papers: Indiana Innovation in Library Outreach and Instruction
We want to hear about your successful and innovative library outreach and instructional programs!
Now more than ever librarians must move beyond their traditional roles and actively seek out opportunities to connect libraries with the communities we seek to serve. Our relevance to these constituent groups will grow as we establish partnerships, develop programs and create experiences that encourage and support learning, literacy and progress.
This special issue of Indiana Libraries (to be published in Fall 2014) will feature articles on successful and innovative library outreach and instructional projects and programs that break down boundaries and forge connections between librarians and their communities of users.
Possible topics might include:
The length of articles will vary according to the needs of the author. Article proposals are due by April 1, 2014 and should be submitted through the Indiana Libraries site at: http://journals.iupui.edu/index.php/IndianaLibraries/information/authors. If you have not already registered you will need to do so. Otherwise simply login and submit.
