Abstract

Two of the major challenges for developing an accredited social work program are to sequence the tasks in developing an educational program and to develop accurate and useful assessment instruments. A model for sequencing the tasks is presented, and a field placement evaluation instrument is highlighted in assessing the extent to which students are attaining the program objectives. Programs need to utilize multiple measures of program outcomes.
