Hypothesis Announces Short Term Goals & New Submission Opportunity

We hope you had an enjoyable Holiday Season. After publishing our issue in November 2021, we put together some short-term and long-term goals for our journal. We share our our short-term goals below:

Short term:

  1. Establish and maintain a consistent publishing schedule. In 2022, switch to August publication for Summer/Fall and February publication for Winter/Spring.
  2. Create an additional editorial reviewed publishing option.
  3. Talk to Education Domain Hub, TEC, Librarians in Health Science Curriculum, and Medical Libraries in Education Caucus about contributing to Hypothesis.
  4. Publish an original research article in each issue.
  5. Apply for PubMed Central Inclusion in Fall 2024.

We encourage you to consider getting involved with Hypothesis by signing up to serve a Peer Reviewer, submitting an article, or contacting us at mlarshypothesis@gmail.com with an idea or suggestion for how we can improve our journal.

Finally, we are excited to announce a new submission category titled, "Community Commentaries!" We encourage your group, office, library to share your updates, programming opportunities, and more. This category encourages both information and non-information professionals to share relevant issues, which might influence how the information supports your community. Submissions to this category receive editorial review.

We look forward to collaborating with you in 2022 and we thank you for your contributions to Hypothesis.

Happy New Year,

Carol and Margaret, Co-Editors of Hypothesis
