Author Guidelines

Submission Guidelines
The corresponding author will be required to submit a cover letter with the manuscript. The cover letter should include names of all co-authors, confirmation that the manuscripts has not been submitted elsewhere or published previously, and confirmation that any data collected were collected under IRB approval. Furthermore, any illustrations, tables or other graphic elements that have been published elsewhere must be reported, and copyright permission for reproduction must be obtained.

Manuscript Preparation
All submissions should conform to the 7th edition of the APA manual. Research manuscripts should not exceed 9,000 words (excluding cover page, abstract, references, tables, and figures). Practitioner manuscripts and research briefs should not exceed 4,000 words (excluding cover page, abstract, text, references, tables, and figures).

Authors of practitioner manuscripts should include informative, interesting visuals (e.g., high-resolution photographs, children’s work samples, charts, and graphs) that enhance the content of the article and promote understanding. Photographers must obtain and keep model releases for all recognizable people in each photo (signed by all adults who appear in the photo and by the parents or legal guardians of all of the children photographed.) Visuals should be uploaded as a part of the manuscript submission process. Do not include them in the body of the article.

Manuscript Submission Instructions
Please submit electronic files using MS Word. Each submission should consist of a cover letter file, manuscript title page, and a blind copy of the manuscript. The manuscript should include an abstract and 4 keywords. The title should conform to APA guidelines except that it may be up to 17 words.

To ensure the integrity of the blind peer-review for submission to this journal, every effort should be made to prevent the identities of the authors from being known to the reviewers. Please adhere to the following steps with regard to the text and the file properties:
