About the Journal

LADJ is an online peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that publishes articles aimed at improving education for learners of African descent. LADJ publishes both research and practitioner manuscripts. The journal values multiple approaches to educational research, including qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods and practitioner-based (action research) studies. Research articles should also include implications for practice where appropriate. The journal is particularly interested in publishing descriptions of innovative practices that provide readers with detailed descriptions of tested learning experiences and that have positively affected learners of African descent.
