CFP: 2023 Issue of INTESOL Journal

2023-06-26

The INTESOL JOURNAL (ITJ) is a professional academic journal published by the Indiana Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (INTESOL). ITJ encourages the submission of previously unpublished articles on topics significant to individuals concerned with the teaching of language. The journal accepts and publishes original articles primarily in the research and practice of the teaching of English to speakers of other languages, which include K-12, university, and adult ESL education settings. In order to increase impact on the field, submissions should be written in a manner accessible to a broad readership, including individuals who may not have familiarity with the subject matter addressed. ITJ is published online and open access, at no charge to readers or authors.

Submissions for the 2023 issue are welcomed up to September 1st, 2023. Reviews will occur in September and October with expected online publication in November 2023. Submissions can be made at any time. Requested length is 5,000 - 7,000 words, exclusive of references. This is negotiable.

ITJ practices affirmative peer review, and welcomes early-career authors and practitioners. Articles addressing empirical research, theory, and practice related to the teaching and learning of language are welcomed.
