Metropolitan universities are distinct from other types in terms of their missions. students. programs. and budgets. Yet planning and funding decisions that seriously affect them are often made from a traditional viewpoint of higher education. The Urban Student Affairs Data Exchange shares financial. enrollment, and cost data useful to urban universities in matters related to accountability, benchmarking, policy, and strategic planning.
