Assessing University-Community Outreach
AbstractIn order to improve the quality of universitycommunity partnerships, institutions of higher education are encouraged to assess both process and outcomes. This article suggests multiple approaches for assessment, a collaborative model involving the various constituents, and ongoing institutional support to sustain the assessment efforts. This includes integration of assessment of universitycommunity partnerships with faculty members' scholarly agendas.
