Abstract

Following a yearlong study of a divisive community issue, a nineperson task force at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock issued a report entitled "Plain Talk: The Future of Little Rock's Public Schools. "The project required giving major attention to managing the risks to the university of involvement in a controversial issue.
