Institutional Support Infrastructure for Online Classes
AbstractProviding the infrastructure to support online classes is analogous to building a new physical campus adjacent to the pre-existing one. Online faculty members have similar support requirements and online students have similar needs to the needs of their counterparts on the physical campus. If these infrastructure considerations are not addressed near the beginning of an online initiative, the success of the entire project may be jeopardized.
