A Tale of Three Centers

Abstract

Prince George's Community College has developed three distinct models for offcampus centers. Examination of each model reveals the impact of variables such as location, ownership, design, target audience for a particular site (student demographics, community needs, and access issues), the role of partnerships with other institutions, and management and staffing decisions, particularly as they relateto the delivery of student services.
