Can Attrition Be Controlled? Should Attrition Be Controlled? Interventions to Assist Students with Nontraditional Characteristics
AbstractThis article reviews the research findings from BPS:96/98 concerning student attrition. An examination of the findings related to students with nontraditional characteristics and discussion of their significance is presented. Recommendations are included to assist institutions in handling students with nontraditional characteristics, thus, reducing the rate of attrition for these students.
