Exploring Natural Resource Professionals' Perspectives About Engaging Undergraduates as Environmental Educators
AbstractLittle is known about how community partners perceive service-learning partnerships. Urban universities are increasingly implementing the pedagogy in the environmental sciences. In order to recruit and sustain connections to community partners, it is necessary that the community partners see the relationship with the university as beneficial to fulfilling their agency's mission. This qualitative research explores the experiences of five community partners who engaged college seniors enrolled in a Capstone course as K-12 environmental educators.
